20 Time Final Post

My 20 Time project was to focus on the sleep schedules of students and how it affects students in their daily lives. To find out more information about this about students around me, I sent out a survey that asked people about their sleeping habits.

Although the recommended amount of sleep teenagers should get is about 9 hours, the average amount of sleep from the students who took the survey was only 7 hours. Also, a majority of the people who took the survey answered that school and extracurriculars were the reasons for why they weren't getting enough sleep.
Most students thought that their activities affected their sleep schedules.
Most of these students who took the survey were from Saratoga, so I wanted to see if students from other high schools would answer differently. After receiving results from students at Homestead, it stuck out that they don't really have many problems with their sleep schedule and they know how to balance themselves out.

This is my 20 Time TED Talk (here is the link as well):

I think my TED Talk could have been better, but with the amount of time we had to prep for it, I thought it was okay. I would have liked it if the formatting of the slides looked exactly how I put it when I made it, because on a lot of the slides, text and images were placed differently and moved around. Prepping for the TED Talk was a little stressful because we were told we couldn't read off a script or something. But as soon as I got past the introduction, I kind of got more comfortable because I wasn't as nervous. Since we've all been working on this project for a while now, I knew I couldn't mess up too badly because I knew all the information I was talking about.
