In this project, I challenged myself to work on finding a better solution to getting enough sleep. I think it's really important for students to get the right amount of sleep they need for their personal schedules. I also chose this topic because it means a lot to me in the sense that I need to find more ways of getting more sleep and what causes my lack of sleep on a daily basis. I also wanted to find out more general information to share with others so that they can have an idea on what they should do to get more sleep and reduce stress.
The plan to achieve this goal is to summarize all the information people sent in and get general conclusions from it, and then send it out in the form of useful information and helpful tips for others to use. This project went relatively well, and I'm pretty impressed by the number of people who took time out of their busy schedules (as what they had answered) to answer questions on my survey. I also appreciated that students form Homestead also took the survey. Some setbacks in this project were very small things such as survey questions that needed clarification and forgetting to record the hours of sleep, happiness levels, activities, and school work on the sleep record.
I learned that most students get a lot less sleep than the recommended 9 hours of sleep per night and that the the more activities people do doesn't affect your sleep, but rather how much time you spend on each activity. I also found it interesting that students from Homestead complained significantly less about school work and answered the survey questions as if they don't sorry too much about school but more about their social life and having fun.
If I did this project again, I'd probably make a better survey and send it to more people, ask more people to record the number of hours they sleep each night, and ask more students from different schools and different grade levels instead of mostly freshmen from Saratoga. What I will do next is apply this knowledge to my own sleep schedule and also share this with others so that they will know specifically what to do to improve their own sleep schedule.

I think your project is very helpful especially for people transitioning into high school, as middle school students receive significantly less homework than we do. If you can find a way to add hours of sleep onto every nights rest, I'm sure many people will congratulate and appreciate you and your help. :)
